Williiam 'Willie' L. Durham

William “Willie” L. Durham, age 87, of Cumming, GA, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021. Willie was born in Gainesville, GA, April 9, 1934, to the late Samuel Levi and Mary Lois Durham. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Jessie Durham Caine, Julia Durham Needham, Gaynelle Durham, Katie Durham Martin, and brother Clyde Durham.

Willie is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Janis Glover Durham. He is also survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Regina and Paul Coleman, Cleveland; Melissa and Marty Martin, Ellijay, and son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Melanie Durham, Gainesville; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild due December 2021; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 3, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA, with Rev. Eddie Caine, Sr., and Rev. Doug Carnes officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service.

Flowers will be honored an acknowledged. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hemophilia of Georgia.
