June Collins, age 73, of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.
Mrs. Collins was born on August 11, 1948, in Franklin County, to the late Loyd Nelson Cash and Emily Margaret Stowe Cash. She was a retired teacher from the White County School System and a past president of White County Retired Educators. June was also a member of White Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Lamar Collins; daughter and son-in-law, Kelli and David Usher, Cleveland; daughter, Casey Collins Caddell, Cleveland; grandchildren, Madison Elizabeth Pollitt, Addison June Caddell, Charlotte Marie Caddell, and Taylor David Usher; sister-in-law, Latrelle Youngblood; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ann and Jackie Rooks, and Bonnie and William McClure, brother, Loyd Cash.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 1, 2021 at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Lewis Fortner, the Rev. Henry Loggins, and the Rev. Garry English will officiate. Interment will follow in Gateway Memory Park.
It is requested that educators, both retired and active, serve as honorary pallbearers for Mrs. Collins’s service.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
