LeRoy Kellam, Sr., age 85 of Buford, GA passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Addie Randolph Kellam. He is survived by his son, LeRoy Kellam, Jr. and Julie Kellam, Dacula, GA; grandchildren, Adrian Genorie Sadler, Erika Styles, Kyle Kellam, Justin Holland; great-grandchildren, Exavier Walker, Emareon Walker, Kash King, Kinslei Jackson, Kase Kellam, Kaelani Kellam; sister, Lena and Johnny Nelson, Gray, GA; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Magnolia and Rev. Eddie Bailey, Buford, GA, Mary Mardell and Charlie Williams, Buford, GA; host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. Kellam was born October 13, 1935 in Hawkinsville, GA. He was retired superindent from The City of Buford Street Dept. after 26 years of service. Mr. Kellalm was a member of Allen Temple United Methodist Church. He served on numerous Boards at Allen Temple United Methodist Church. He also enjoyed singing and was an avid Braves fan. Mr. Kellam was a very outstanding citizen and he helped a lot of people in the City of Buford. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 3, 2021 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA with Pastor Eddie Bailey, Mr. Kellam’s brother-in-law, officiating. Interment will be held following the Service at Hillcrest Cemetery, Buford, GA.
The Wake will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the Funeral Home.
