Claude Stephen Smith

Mr. Claude Stephen Smith, age 73 of Rumsey Avenue, Toccoa passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.

A son of the late Gaston and Celia Williams Smith, he was born February 26, 1948 in Canon, Georgia having lived most of his life in Toccoa.  He was employed with Robertson Furniture Company and was a member of Northside Baptist Church.  He loved his family.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Michell.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Troxell Smith of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Robin Bridges and Stephen and Amber Smith both of Toccoa; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; sister, Lucille Anderson of Commerce.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Due to the health and well-being of the community, masks are encouraged during the visitation.
