Margie Allison Crow age 93 entered her Heavenly Home on September 25, 2021 after a brief illness. She is now happy and healed. Her legacy will be carried on by her family and friends. Margie lived an admirable life, very simply and contently.
The family will have a Private Service due to the wishes of Mrs. Crow, as she was concerned for her family and friends safety during the COVID Pandemic.
Born on December 8, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Charles Gordon Allison and the late Ruth Clark Allison. Margie married young and devoted her life to raising her children, loving her family and friends, and serving in the Hall County School System where she retired. Margie was born and lived the majority of her life in Flowery Branch, GA and she was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Flowery Branch.
Her family celebrates the joining of Margie with her late husband, Jimmy, her parents, her brothers in law, Ben Williamson, Charles Thornhill and other family and friends in their eternal home.
She and Jimmy raised two children, Linda (Larry) Gilleland of Gainesville, GA and Jerry Crow of Flowery Branch, GA. Margie had one granddaughter, LeAnne (Sean) Richardson of Gainesville, GA, and a very special grand dog, Bailey. She is also survived by her two sisters, Marlene Williamson of Flowery Branch, GA and Mary Thornhill of Lilburn, GA along with a host of other family and friends.
For 3 generations, Margie expressed her love of family through the meals that she joyfully prepared and shared with them every Sunday, never to be missed. This time around the table with her children, son in law, grandchild, grandson in law, and sisters was the absolute highlight of her week.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff of Hospice of Northeast Georgia who lovingly cared for her in her last days.
To honor Margie, donations to your charitable organization of choice are requested in lieu of flowers.
