Mrs. Annie Ruth Hallford Clark, age 85 of Rountree Road, Toccoa passed away Friday, September 24, 2021 at The Overlook Senior Living in Toccoa.
A daughter of the late Wallace and Eva Ivester Hallford, she was born September 18, 1936 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived most of her life in Lawrenceville, Georgia. She was a retired bank investment officer. She was a member of the Assemblies of God Church in Lawrenceville and attended Bethel Holiness Church in Toccoa. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Clark, a son, Roy Wayne Clark and by five siblings, Ray Hallford, Roy Hallford, Paul Hallford, Glenn Hallford and Gladys Scott.
Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Jimmy Jackson of Martin, Georgia; brothers and sister-in-law, William J. “Billy” Hallford of Toccoa and Kenneth and Pat Hallford of Hixon, Tennessee; sisters-in-law, Doris Westmoreland Hallford of Tucker, Georgia and Lucille Robinson of Augusta, Georgia; brother-in-law, Hoyt Scott of Toccoa.
Graveside services will be Sunday, September 26, 2021, 2:30 p.m. at the Stephens Memorial Gardens with The Reverend Jimmy Jackson officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Cody Bennett, Jason Neal, Billy Hallford, Steve Hallford and Michael Hallford.
The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday from 1 p.m. until time to leave for the graveside.
The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff at The Overlook and Homestead Hospice for the care extended to their loved one.
Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Annie Ruth Hallford Clark.
