Bobby Garner 'P.D.' Adams

Mr. Bobby Garner “P.D.” Adams, age 88, of Chicopee passed away on Thursday September 23, 2021 at Phoenix at Lake Lanier following an extended illness.

Graveside services are scheduled for Sunday September 26, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery. Revered Phil Carpenter will officiate.

Bobby was born on May 9, 1933 in Gainesville, Ga to the late Paul Adams and Lizzie Waters Adams. He was retired from Gainesville Junior College where he worked in the Mainetence department and was a member of Chicopee Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was married to his wife Colleen for 63 years. Bobby was very proud of his grand-children, he also loved Chicopee Baptist Church and his lord and savior. Mr. Adams is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Colleen Shuler Adams, daughter, Kathy Long, grand-daughter, Kristi Long, great-grand-son, Xander Millwood.

Bobby is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Derita Adams of Watkinsville, Ga, grand-children, Shane Long, Ryan Adams, Justin Adams, Brittany Adams, Great-grandchildren, Ty Millwood, Jake Long, Xane Millwood, Troy Adams, Katelin Adams, Christopher Adams, Braden Long, Cody Burdette, sister, Patsy McGhee of Gainesville.
