Reflections of Life in America

Joe and Evonne Efeya joined hands in marriage June 10, 2017, in Nigeria. He came to the United States of America on August 3, 2018. He started working for Toole Floor Coating on November 6, 2018.

Joe loved and cherished his wife. He enjoyed life and loved his family and friends. He was very smart, caring and a hard worker. Joe was always willing and eager to learn new things. He had a great sense of humor, positive attitude and loved joking.

On Monday September 20, 2021, our beloved husband, son, father, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend departed us in a tragic accident.

He leaves to cherish his memories: His lovely wife Evonne Cross Efeya; three Stepchildren, Contavious Cross (Baseema), Shuntesa (D'Andre) Larkin, and Lakeithia Cross; Mother in law, Ida Mae Cross; two sister in laws, Annie Richardson (Steve) and Lola Thompson; Five Step-Grandchidren, Destiny Davis, Serenity Brown, Messiah Holloway, Dillon Larkin and Summer Cross; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

We the families of Mr Isaac Efeya and the families of Lucky Atigari both of Delta State Nigeria regret to announce the sudden demise of their beloved son, husband, uncle, nephew, and cousin Mr Joe Efeya who passed away on the 20th of September 2021 in gnastic motor accident. Mr Joe Efeya hailed from Ethiope west local govt area of delta state Nigeria. Until his death he attended pessu pry sch warri from then he attended his secondary sch with college of commerce also from warri. After his secondary school he took the pains to pursue another field of livehood. Which includes playing for a football team just to become a well-known footballer. He also attended a technical college in delta state know as (sapele technical college) where he got his national diploma certificate as an engineering The demise was such a hardworking man and a gentle man to the core. He is survived by his aging parents (MR AND MRS ISAAC EFEYA) and his pretty wife (MRS. EVONNE EFEYA) Together with six (6) siblings Nephews and Nieces. May his soul rest in peace. 
The Celebration of Life for Mr. Efeya will be Saturday, October 2nd at Greater Joy Cathedral in Albany at the hour of 3pm. Professional Service Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
