Mr. Juan Rafael Merced, age 36, of Dacula passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Father Adam Blatt will officiate. The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 15, 2021 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
Mr. Merced was born December 20, 1984 to Juan Quintana & Wanda Ivette Merced in Allentown, Pennsylvania. A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, he was a sharp shooter awarded a USMC Marksman award.
He is survived by his partner, Elisha Sickles; mother & stepfather, Wanda & Joseph McNerney of Gainesville, GA; children, Zakhi Sickles-Merced, Julianna Merced, Ya-Seina Merced, Harley Merced, and Joelle Merced; grandparents, Carmen Ricci of Gainesville, GA, and Gabrial & Naomi Merced of Buford, GA; brother, Danny Nieves- Merced of Gainesville, GA; sister, Jazzlynn Merced of Gainesville, GA.
