Jeanette Elizabeth Reece

Jeanette Elizabeth Reece, 74 of Dawsonville, GA passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at her residence after a brief illness.  She was born in Dawsonville, GA to the late Vasco and Mamie Goode.  She was a life long resident of Dawsonville, and was a member at McKees Chapel United Methodist Church, Dawsonville, GA.  She was a hairdresser for over 50 years, and also worked at Dawsonville Florist for many years with her lifelong friends, Gayle and Beverly.  She was always willing to help people.  She loved to do crafts and paint.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Woodfin Reece; brothers, Jimmy Goode and Jerry Goode. 

She is survived by her children, Woody Reece, Jr. of Dawsonville, GA, Kim Reece of Dawsonville, GA, Scott and Tina Reece of Dawsonville, GA, Beth and Chris Jenkins of Okinawa, Japan; grandchildren, Lori, Savannah, Caleb, Seth, Lilah, Lucas, Levi; great grandson, Reece; sister, Joan Brown of Dawsonville, GA; and numerous other relatives.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at McKees Chapel United Methodist Church, Dawsonville, GA.
