Leon Stephen 'Steve" Hughes

Mr. Leon Stephan “Steve” Hughes, 66, of Gainesville passed away Monday, September 20, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton Campus.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on November 14, 1954 in Detroit, MI, he was the son of the late Tatum Hughes and the late Helen Payne Hughes. He was owner/operator of Peace of Mind Home Inspectors.

Mr. Hughes is survived by his wife, Debra Hughes of Gainesville; sons and daughters in law, Kinsey Hughes and Tiffany Hughes of Gainesville; Austin Hughes and Ciera Hughes of Cleveland; grandchildren, Liam, Lincoln, Eden and Sterling Hughes; brothers and sisters in law, Danny and Betty Hughes of Braselton, Chris and Glenda Hughes of Clayton and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives.
