George Henry Ethridge

George Henry Ethridge, age 69, of Conyers, GA passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021. He was preceded in death by his son, David Allen Ethridge; brother, Jerry Ethridge; parents, Joe and Katie Ethridge; and partner in life for over twelve years, Teresa Darcy. He is survived by his children, George Henry Ethridge, Jr. of Dunnellon, FL, Amanda Sue Ethridge of Palm Coast, FL, Taylor Ethridge of Covington, GA; four grandchildren; sister, Louise and Joe Strothers of Buford, GA; brothers, Bobby Ethridge of Monroe, GA, Robert Ethridge of Monroe GA, Michael Ethridge of Conyers, GA, Marvin and Vickie Ethridge, of Lawrenceville, GA, David and Paula Ethridge of Lawrenceville, GA; stepchildren, Tiffany Darcy of Redding, CA, Hunter Darcy of Brentwood, CA, Sierra Darcy of Clarkesville, TN; and five step grandchildren. Mr. Ethridge was born June 30, 1952 in Pine Lake, GA. He had worked for the City of Conyers for a number of years. He was of the Baptist Faith and was very active in his community where he resided in Conyers, GA. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Briarlake Baptist Church in Decatur, GA with Pastor Jebo Barnes officiating. The family will receive friends before the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church.
