Jerry Grissom

Jerry Grissom, age 77, of Auburn, GA passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Ellene Grissom; daughter, Darby Grissom; and sister, Betty Anglin. He is survived by his children, Terry and Rebecca Grissom of Bethlehem, GA, Larry Grissom of Lula, GA, Matthew and Wanda Grissom of Braselton, GA, Josh Grissom of Braselton, GA, John Grissom of Auburn, GA; Jerry “Buddy” Grissom of Jefferson, GA; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brothers, Sammy and Peggy Grissom of Dawsonville, GA, Jacky and Cheryl Grissom of Sugar Hill, GA, Ricky and Sarah Grissom of Cleveland, GA; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Grissom was born April 20, 1944 in Cumming, GA. He received his education at North Gwinnett High School. He was a carpenter and a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Parker officiating. Interment will follow at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, September 20th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, September 21st from1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
