Ricky Clinton Simmons

Mr. Ricky Clinton Simmons, age 62, of Gainesville went Home to be with the Lord Saturday, September 18, 2021.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Memorial Park South Chapel with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery.  Rev. Jason Simmons will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Simmons was born May 11, 1959 to the late Ralph Clinton & Laura Yvonne Simmons in Gainesville, Georgia. He was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Flowery Branch, Georgia and a truck driver for Simpson Trucking.

Mr. Simmons is survived by his wife Cheryl Simmons of Gainesville; Son & Daughter-in-law, Jason & Julie Simmons; siblings, Randy Simmons of Pendergrass, Ronald “Pee Wee” & Renee Simmons of Horton, Alabama and Rena & Ransom Ash of Dahlonega; grandchildren, Branson Simmons & Sadie Simmons; 

He was preceded in death by his mother & father-in-law; Billy & Robbie Stevens.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Diamond Hill Baptist Church Building Fund.
