Kenneth Eugene Martin

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Kenneth Eugene Martin, age 72 of Commerce, Georgia who entered into rest Friday, September 17, 2021.  Mr. Martin was born in Hoschton, Georgia to the late Jack Otis Martin and the late Velma Cordelia Sherriff Martin. Mr. Martin was a member of Galilee Christian Church and was a retired Landscaper. In addition to his parents Mr. Martin is preceded in death by his brothers Billy Otis Martin and Johnny Freeman Martin.

Survivors include brothers, Charles Martin of Danielsville, Jack Martin and his wife Joan of Jefferson, sisters, Katie Sue Phillips and her husband David of Homer, Wanda Martin and her husband Keith of Maysville, Tina Martin Gee and her husband Teddy of Jefferson as well of numerus nieces and nephews and Mr. Martin’s longtime Companion Deloris T. Carter of Commerce also survive.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at Woodbine Cemetery with Reverend Swayne Cochran officiating.  A Visitation will be held Saturday, 1:00 P.M. till 2:00 P.M. prior to the service at Woodbine Cemetery.
