John Paul Ferrar

Mr. John Paul Ferrar, age 53, of Alto passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021.

John was born in Buffalo, New York on March 1, 1968. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Patricia Sabrack Ferrar. John was a loving husband and father and a deeply beloved “Poppy” to his grandchildren. He loved to fish and spend time with his family. John loved Jesus with all his heart and his favorite times were when he was going to church with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Patti Ferrar; daughter, Siarrah Wallace, both of Alto; son, Taye Knott, Lawrenceville; daughters, Jade Ellison, Alto, and McKenzie Ferrar, Cathedral City, CA; son, Evan Ferrar, Lawrenceville; grandchildren, Bentley Parks, Cayden Parks, and Zuriah Knott; sister, Robin Contreras (Olman); brother, Wil Brower (Vicki); his “Dad and Mom” Mack and Sandra Anderson; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 PM Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Enon Baptist Church in Lula, GA. The Rev. David Jones will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the service hour at the church.
