John Teddy “Ted” Williams, age 74, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021.
Mr. Williams was born on August 22, 1947, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Emmett and Iva Mae Wallace Williams. He was a truck driver and a member of Yonah Lodge F&AM #382 and Al-Pine Shrine. In addition to his parents, Ted was preceded in death by brother, Roy Williams; and sister, Shirley Tucker.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Williams; daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Anthony Love; daughter, Brandy Carlson; grandchildren, McKenzie and Brendan Brewer, Jayce Henderson, Shayla and Emmanuel Love; great grandson, Kasen Brewer; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Keith and Vickie Wells and Kenneth and Deborah Wells; and a host of other family and friends also survive.
Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 19, 2021, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The family has asked that in honor of Ted’s love for the Georgia Bulldogs, for everyone to come dressed in their red and black casual clothes – Go Dawgs! The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home, prior to the memorial service.
