Betty Jane Minck Puckett

Betty Jane Minck Puckett, age 95, of Buford, GA passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her husband, William Luther Puckett.  She is survived by daughters, Joann Zepeda (Juan), Loganville, Janet Ashworth (Rev. Danny Ashworth), Buford, GA, Mary “Cookie” Puckett, Flowery Branch, GA; sons, Edward “Buster” Puckett (Edith), Hoschton, GA; William Norwood Puckett, Austell, GA, Michael Luther Puckett (Donna), Flowery Branch, GA; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Puckett was born February 24, 1926 in Cecil, OH.  She received her education at Brown High School in Atlanta, GA.  She was a homemaker and she loved to spend time with her family very much.  Mrs. Puckett was a long-time member of New Bethany Baptist Church, Buford, GA and she was a long-time dedicated nursery work at the Church.  She enjoyed working in her yard with her flowers and was a member of the XYZ Senior Club.  A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, September 17, 2021 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA. with Rev. Danny Ashworth officiating.  Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA .  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
