Marcile Grier Roper

Mrs. Marcile Grier Roper age 87 of Gainesville, Ga passed away on Wednesday September 15th, 2021.  Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday September 18, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Troy Milford will officiate. Family will receive friends on Friday September 17th at Memorial Park Funeral Home from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.            

Marcile was born on February 10, 1934 in Cumming, Georgia to the late Virgil Millwood and Eva (Phillips) Millwood. She was a homemaker and attended Mayfield Baptist Church in Gainesville.Mrs. Roper is preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband,  Fred K. Grier, 2nd husband, Dennis Roper, 6 brothers and 4 sisters.      

Mrs. Roper is survived by her son and daughter in law, Terry and Kay Grier of Gainesville, her son and daughter in law Gary and Frances Grier of Flowery Branch, step-sons Danny Roper (Mandy) of Gainesville, Myron Roper of Dawsonville, Grandchildren, Jennifer Conner (Hank, Jr.), Brandi Adams (Daniel), Alan Grier (Gabby); sister and brother in law Pat Reid (Harold) and 6 Great Grandchildren.
