Mr. Henry Wade Ivester, age 71 of Hickory Circle, Toccoa passed away Monday, September 13, 2021 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.
A son of the late Vernon Owen Ivester and Florence Dooley Ivester, he was born January 20, 1950 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived most of his life. He was employed with Advance Auto Parts as a Commercial Manager. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, a very hard worker. He enjoyed fishing, loved the beach, loved kids and the mountains. He was a devoted Christian and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Myril Ivester.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Martha Fowler Ivester of the home; sons, Shane Kelley of Toccoa and Christopher (Ashley) Ivester of Woodstock, Georgia; grandchildren, Jenni Kelley of Taylors, South Carolina and Willow Rose Ivester of Woodstock, Georgia; brother, Jimmy Ivester of Wetumpka, Alabama; sister, Delores McKnatt of Wetumpka, Alabama.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 17, 2021, 2 O’clock p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church with The Reverend Stacy Penland, The Reverend Roger Whiten and Mr. Scott Arowood officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Scott Arowood, Roger Arowood, Tex Murray, Clay Rickman, Marco Coco and Alfred Galloway.
The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with The Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating.
