Ms. Geann Winters was born March 8th in Demorest, GA to the late Pearvin Winters and Ruth Burce Winters. Geann spent the majority of her life in Cornelia, GA. While there she attended Shady Grove Baptist Church. In 2011, Geann moved to Hall County. Shortly after moving, she joined the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church and sang in the choir. In her spare time you could find Geann with a crochet needle and yarn in her hands. Over the years she made and gifted several blankets. Geann also loved to keep herself busy doing puzzles, word searches, and coloring. On Monday, September 13, 2021, Geann transitioned to her new life. She is survived by her sister Betty (Tony) Polen. Nephews Paul “JR”, Andre “Jabby” (Talia) and Greg “Boobie”. Five great-nieces, five great-nephews, two Aunts Mary E. Prather and Elgie Burce and a host of cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 17th between the hours of 12-2pm at Wimberly Funeral Home. Ms. Geann Winters' Celebration of Life will be held Friday, September 17th at Wimberly Funeral Home at the hour of 2pm. Professional Service Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
