Mrs. Rebecca Joyce King Pitts, age 53 of Julian Westmoreland Drive, Martin passed away Monday, September 13, 2021 at St. Mary’s Sacred Heart Hospital, Lavonia, Georgia.
A daughter of Ginger Smith King and the late Charles King, she was born April 29, 1968 in Clinton, South Carolina having lived most of her life in Stephens County, Georgia. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her mother, Ginger Smith King of Toccoa; husband, Lamar Pitts of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law, Marvin Pitts of Toccoa, Brandon and Jamie Pitts of Martin and Wesley and Kristi Pitts of Toccoa; grandchildren, Nicolle, Dalton, Emma, Dameon, McKenley and Karlee; brother, William King of Toccoa; sister, Jeanna Patterson of Toccoa.
Graveside service will be Thursday, September 16, 2021, 2 O’clock p.m. at the Stephens Memorial Gardens with The Reverend Travis Pitts officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday from noon until time to leave for the graveside. Due to the health and well-being of the community, masks are encouraged during the visitation and service.
Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Rebecca Joyce King Pitts.
