Melvin Douglas Morris

Melvin Douglas Morris, age 67 of Lula, GA passed away on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021.
 
Born on Nov. 17, 1953 in Banks County, GA, Mr. Morris was the son of the late W.S. and Martha Rose Sims Morris. He was the widower of Cyndi Lou Williams Morris, retired from Lucent Technologies, and was to the Christian faith, and was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Fowler.
 
Survivors include daughters, Tracy Arrowood; Kasie (Brandon) Sellner, Carley (Bryan) Daniels, Jessie (Will) Gordon; step-daughter, Heather Campagna; brothers, Stanley Morris, Glenn Morris, Steve Fowler; sister, Michelle Fowler; grandchildren, Dylan, Ashlan, Jolee, Jaden, Everleigh, Charley, Bryley, Emma, Breeze, Grason, Scarlett; great-grandchildren, Easton and Ridge.
 
Memorial services will be held at 4 pm Monday, Sept. 13, 2021 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Trudy Galloway and Steve Fowler officiating. The family will receive friends 3-6 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
