Todd Christopher Faulkner

Todd Christopher Faulkner is the son of the late Annie M. Hopkins and Henry Murdough. He attended elementary school at White Sulfur and graduated from East Hall High School in 1981. He was a football player and a great teammate.
He was born in Brooklyn New York, and his mom moved back to Gainesville Georgia where he was reared and grew up. Todd was committed to his family and always looked out for his siblings.
As a child and young adult, Todd was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and later a member of World Overcomers Christian Center and currently Victory-Hamilton Mill, Buford, GA. He grew up at St. Paul serving as an acolyte, attending Sunday school and the children's choir. He was also a member of Gainesville Mass choir which he loved to sing. One of Todd's all-time favorite singers is "Shirley Caesar". "Don't touch Todd and Shirley". He liked singing, swimming, traveling, playing pool and the keyboard.
Todd was employed at Peachtree Windows and Doors for years, and later at Wrigley's/Mars.
He will always be remembered by his family and friends for his awesome "Smile" and Friendlessness. His Smile always lit up the room with joy, and if you were not smiling, he might ask you "are you alright". He was known as the "Smiling Gentle Giant". He had a pet named "Oreo" who he loved and talked about all the time.
Todd leaves to mourn his beloved wife of eighteen years, Stephanie Faulkner. One dog/son "Oreo". One sister and one brother, Lynn (Dean) Tabor, Pastor Eric (Mary) Faulkner. His loving Mother-n-Law, Mrs. Josephine Beacham, one sister-n-law, Sue Montgomery, four brother-n-laws, Kip, Kent, John and Carl Beacham, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 17th between the hours of 12-8pm at Wimberly Funeral Home. The Celebration of will be held Saturday, September 18th at 1pm at Alta Vista Cemetery. Professional Service Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
