Elizabeth “Beth” Doris Hanson Moye

Mrs. Elizabeth “Beth” Doris Hanson Moye, age 70 of Gainesville, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at her sister’s residence following an extended illness.

Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 12:30 pm in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Mrs. Melinda Gilreath will officiate. 

Mrs. Moye was born January 17, 1951 in Lagrange, Georgia to the late Olin M. Hanson and Dorothy Ward Hanson.  She was retired from Beaulieu Carpets and was a member of The River in Murrayville.  Beth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack H. Moye, Sr., her granddaughter, Katana Burtz and her brother, Charles “Chuck” Hanson.

Mrs. Moye is survived by her children, Robin Pittman of Murrayville, Stephanie & Scott Burtz of Murrayville, Jack H. Moye, Jr. & Barbaleena of Gainesville and Pam Singleton of Dallas, Texas, her grandchildren, Jeffery Pittman, Taylor Pittman, Raymi Pittman, Brandon Burtz, Dustin Lawson, Felicia Moye, Febe Moye and Sasha Moye, her great-grandchildren, Draven Burtz, Jace Pittman, Tanner Smith and Lillian Smith, her sisters, Janice Holtzclaw of St. Marys, Georgia, Glenda McCullough of Kennesaw, Georgia and Melanie Smith of Lawrenceville, Georgia and her brother & sister-in-law, William & Tammy Hanson of Galion, Ohio.
