Timothy Darrill Burgess

Timothy Darrill Burgess, age 63, of Canton, GA, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Minnie Burgess; brothers, Johnny Burgess (Priscilla Blount) and Walter Burgess.  Mr. Burgess is survived by his sons, Johnny Burgess (Ashley) of Winder, GA and Timothy Lee Burgess of Canton, GA; several grandchildren; sister, Shirley Payne (David) of Acworth, GA; nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was born November 21, 1957, in Marietta, GA.  Mr. Burgess graduated from Marietta High School and was a veteran of the United States Army.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Flanigan Funeral Home.
