Obituary Date: Monday, September 6, 2021

William “Brent” Burnett, 50, of Braselton passed away on Monday September 6, 2021 after a long battle with Covid Pneumonia.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Roxanne Dyer Burnett. His two amazing sons Ridge and Rocco Burnett. He is survived also by both parents, Wilburn and Betty Burnett of Gainesville. His younger sister Laurie Burnett Underwood and her husband, Mark and a niece and nephew, Madeline and Aaron Underwood. In addition he is also survived by his mother and father in-law, Jerry and Linda Dyer of Braselton.

Brent was born in Gainesville and attended Johnson High School where he was known as quite the football player (just ask his buddies). He worked as a heavy diesel mechanic for close to 25 years.

Brent loved his family and friends hard. If you were lucky enough to call him a friend, he was your friend for life.
