Bryan Christopher Thornton, of Cleveland, left this Earth unexpectedly on Saturday, September 4, 2021.
Bryan was employed by Cabin Creek Log Creations where he deeply enjoyed creating furniture. Some of the things he enjoyed was being outdoors, star gazing, hammock camping, and deep conversations. He was most proud of being Henry’s dad. He was a wonderful husband, loyal friend, and adored stepdad, aka Cupcake.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Aundria “Andy Boo” Chastain; grandmothers, Joyce Ann Cantrell (Bramlett) and Mary Dianne Thornton.
He is survived by his son, Henry Thornton, Alabama; wife, Michelle Thornton; stepchildren, Reece, Lathem, Camden, and Monroe; sisters, Sarah Thornton, Kathleen Thornton, and Destinie Thornton; brother, Joshua Lloyd; dad, James D. Thornton, Jr.; grandpa, James D. Thornton, Sr.; uncles, Joey Chastain and Randy Cantrell; cousin, Earl Williams; many, many friends and relatives also survive.
A Celebration of Life will be at Unicoi State Park, Shelter #5, on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 5:30pm with Reverend Doctor Betsie Poinsett officiating.
