Charles “Stanley” Turner

Charles “Stanley” Turner, age 85, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Monday, September 6, 2021.    

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel with interment to follow at Dewberry Baptist Church No. 1 Cemetery. Pastor Joey Grizzle and Pastor Scott Grizzle. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at the funeral home.

Stanley was born November 18, 1935 in White County, Georgia. He was the son of the late Hubert Franklin Turner Sr. and Fannie Mae Albertson. He was member of Dewberry Baptist Church No. 1.

Stanley is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Angie & Mike Grizzle of Gainesville; Shelia and Bob Lachner of Gainesville; grandchildren, Pastor Scott and Linda Grizzle, Pastor Joey and Mia Grizzle; Randy and Nikki Grizzle; Kathy and Todd Childers; Jeremy and Crystal Carlyle; Josh Carlyle, Crystal Kay Carlyle; Lance Lachner, Celeste and Chris Hinshaw; thirteen great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

Memorial Park Funeral Home North Riverside Chapel, 989 Riverside Dr. is in charge of arrangements.
