Herman Lee Barrett

Mr. Herman Lee Barrett, 87, of Gainesville passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville Campus.

 A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

 Born on April 29, 1934 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late Benjamin Barrett and the late Cynthia Newberry Barrett. Mr. Barrett was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp.

 In addition to his parents, Mr. Barrett is preceded in death by his wife, Annie Mae Rider Barrett ;1 great grandchild; four brothers and two sisters.

 Mr. Barrett is survived by his daughters, Mary Holtzclaw (Chris) of Bartow, GA, Susan Reed of Gainesville; son, Harold Lee Barrett (Cindy) of Gillsville; daughter, Cynthia Barrett Collins of Gainesville; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
