Samuel “Charles” Wardlaw, age 31, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021.
Charles was born in 1990, in Feuchtwangen Hospital, West Germany, as the second only American child to be born in that hospital. He attended Fayetteville Christian School, Fayetteville, NC, Riverside Military Academy, North Hall Middle, North Hall High School and Lanier Technical College in Gainesville, GA. Charles was a talented and passionate athlete playing baseball, soccer, football, basketball and running Cross-Country. His favorite sport by far was basketball.
Charles was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church, Gainesville, GA but had recently started attending Christ Place Baptist Church, Flowery Branch. He was a certified welder and worked for Kubota Industries, Gainesville, GA. Charles enjoyed playing pickup basketball and spending time with friends and family, sharing in their love of animals.
Charles is survived by his mother, Leslie Reed, his father, David Wardlaw, his sister, Savanna Archer, along with many other loving relatives and friends.
Charles’s Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel, 989 Riverside Drive, Gainesville, GA 30501; officiated by
Rev. Fletcher Law.
