Thomas Elex Simmons, age 65 of Danielsville, GA passed away Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021.
Born on Sept. 20, 1955 in Commerce, GA, he was the son of the late Travis and Margie Smith Simmons. He was preceded in death by a son, Tony Marasingale.
Survivors include a son, Eric Thomas Simmons, Danielsville; step-son, Walter Jordan, Canon; daughters, Lynn Jordan, Canon, Tiffany Simmons, Martin; brothers, Bo Simmons, Danielsville, David Simmons, Commerce, Jimmy Simmons, Danielsville; sisters, Julie Echols, Commerce, Carol Parr, Danielsville, Shirley Samples, Danielsville, Angie Elrod, Commerce, Belinda Simmons, Toccoa, Rita Seabolt, Carnesville; and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2 pm on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 10 am until the funeral hour on Thursday at the funeral home.
