Christine C. Taylor

Christine C. Taylor, 90, a lifelong resident of Forsyth County, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021. Christine was the youngest of 8 children born to Grady Watson and Corrie Southard McGinnis. She loved her family, friends and community. Christine showed her love by her home cooking. She was a lifelong member of Bethelview United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents and siblings Christine is preceded in death by her husbands, David Everett Taylor and Royce D. Samples.

Survivors include her children, Phil Samples of Flowery Branch, Lynda Samples of Thomson, GA, Ronnie Samples of The Villages, FL, Byron and Tina Samples of Harlem, GA; grandchildren, Felicia Samples and Troy Muro, Jessica and Rhodie Smith, Lauren and Jason Lee, Amanda and Brooks Swanson, Alaina and Chris Conner, Cassie and Andy McClure; great grandchildren, Abi, Adah, Ashton, Jameson, Taylor, Bailey, Delaney, Rhodie, Brooke, Blair, Gabby and Cecelia. A number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 8, at 3:00 p.m. at Bethelview United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
