Mrs. Pamela Kirkland Smith, age 63 of Poplar Court, Toccoa passed away September 2, 2021 at her residence.
A daughter of the late Bunia Faye Fowler Kirkland, she was born December 10, 1957 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived all her life. She was employed with Taylor Communications as a Customer Service Representative and was a member of The Pointe. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sonya Kirkland and by a granddaughter, Hannah Brothers.
Survivors include her husband of the home, Thomas Smith; daughters and sons-in-law, Amanda and William Brothers of Eastanollee and Jennifer and Josh Segars of Toccoa; grandchildren, Joshua Brothers, Ashleigh Brothers, Tyler Brothers, Cindy Brothers, Jarrett Segars, Hannah-Grace Segars and Haley Segars; sisters and brothers-in-law, Faye and Allen Standridge and Nena and Jim Banks both of Toccoa; a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Sunday, September 5, 2021, 4 O’clock p.m. at The Pointe with the Reverend Jerry Chitwood and family members officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Joshua Brothers, Tyler Brothers, Jarrett Segars, Jim Banks, Allen Standridge, Tim Ledford, Keith Standridge and Blake Tudor.
The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Due to the health and well-being of the community, masks are encouraged during the visitation and service. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.
