Mary Ann Heard, age 65, of Baldwin died September 1st, 2021.
Born in Dekalb county, Ann was the wife of Raburn “Ned” Heard and daughter of the late Charles Nelson and Marion Elizabeth Nelson. She is also proceeded in death by a brother, Marion Wayne Nelson.
Mrs. Heard was a vibrant soul, which was shown daily by her “pop of color” outfit choices and out of this world personality. Her most favorite things in this life were her family, her fur babies, good food, antique cars, and all things NASCAR. She had a laugh that will be unforgettable. She was “Nana” to those that loved her most and she held that title proudly. She will be missed dearly.
Survivors in addition to her husband include a brother, Edward Nelson, children in love, John Heard of Statham, Dan (Becky) Heard of Loganville, Gary (Christy) Heard of Loganville, Greg (Sheila) Heard of McDonough, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Ivie Funeral home in Commerce, GA will oversee arrangements, a Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.
