Julia Finch Hudson

Graveside Celebration of Life Services will be held for Mrs. Julia Finch Hudson on Friday, September 3,2021,11:00am at Lithonia City Cemetery, 2349 Randall Street, Lithonia, Georgia 30058.  Rev. Dr. M.P. Green eulogist/ officiating.

Julia was the youngest of three children born to the late Reverend Albert Finch, Sr. and Margaret Wills Finch in Bessemer, Alabama. Julia’s parents and brother Albert Finch Jr, preceded her in death. Julia was born April 5, 1942 and she departed this life on Sunday August 29, 2021.

Julia was a member of The Porters Chapel CME Church. She graduated in 1960 from Dunbar High School in Bessemer, Alabama, and in 1964 she graduated from Lane College in Jackson, Tennessee.  Julia was a retired professor at Stillman College, Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  Her hobbies were dancing, acting, and watching football.

Julia was preceded in death by Albert Finch, Jr, Noah E Wills, Sr., David Hudson, and Albert Finch, III.

She is survived by three sons, Kevin W Green, Kyle M Green, and Jason C Hudson; sister, Kathryn Finch Warren; six grandchildren: Logan Green, Lucas Green, Landry Green, Mia Green, Cameron Hudson, and Dominic Green;  two loving daughter in laws: Jennifer Green and Lea Green; bother in law, Robert C Warren Sr.;  nephew Robert Warren Jr.; niece Wendy Warren, other relatives and friends.
