Larry Lamar Cantrell

Larry Lamar Cantrell, 74, of Cumming passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021. Mr. Cantrell grew up in Ball Ground and moved to Atlanta. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving three tours in Vietnam.  Mr. Cantrell is preceded in death by his son, Doug Cantrell; parents, A.C. and Louise Cantrell; brothers, Jerry Cantrell, Kerry Cantrell; sister, Sylvia Cantrell; and granddaughter, Rivers Cantrell.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Gail Cantrell of Cumming; sons, Randy Cantrell of Alpharetta, Stephen Cantrell of Dawsonville; sister, Patsy Robinson of Atlanta; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 4, at 12:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Randy Smith and Dr. Scott Henderson officiating. Entombment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
