Jeanee Catherine Jones

Mrs. Jeanee Catherine Jones, age 89 of Gainesville, passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021 at Bell Minor Nursing Home following an extended illness.   

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 12:30 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Pastor Brian Hall will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 from 5 – 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Jones was born May 2, 1932 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Garland Pinson and Maybelle Lawson Pinson.  She was a retired nurse from Northeast Georgia Medical Center with 23 years of service.  Jeanee was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Bill Jones, her sister, Mildred Brownlow and her brother, Hoyt Pinson.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her children, Mike & Debbie Jones, Debbie Howard and Tim & Connie Jones, her grandchildren, Billy & Stacey Jones, Chance & Christina Jones and Nick & Amy Howard, her great-grandchildren, Peyton & (soon to be Randi) Jones, Alyssa Jones and Gabby Jones and her great-great-grandson, Tate Jones.   

Special thanks to the staff of Bell Minor Nursing home for the wonderful care and love given to Mrs. Jeanee.   In lieu of flowers, please make donations in honor of Mrs. Jones to the Hall County Humane Society, 1688 Barber Road, Gainesville, GA 30507.
