Laura Beth Allen

Laura Beth Allen of Cleveland, GA passed away peacefully the morning of Saturday, August 28th 2021, surrounded by family and friends. She fought a hard battle with cancer.

Beth was born on July 6th, 1966 in Gainesville, GA to Ed and Leona Allen. She was preceded in death by her father. Beth worked for the City of Cleveland for 27 years as a finance officer, and was an indispensable part of the office. She was also a devoted daughter, mother, and grandmother. She was always quick to smile and lend a helping hand. She loved the beach, roller skating, hunting, and any activity that included family and friends.

Survivors include, Levi Pursley (Son), Brittany Pursley and Derrica Rohmeyer (Daughters), Leona Allen (Mother), Bruce and Eddie Allen (Brothers), Donna Black (Sister) and her husband Flip, Blakely Pursley (Granddaughter), Keely Allen (Niece), and Jeremy Black (Nephew).

The family will welcome friends from 6-8 on Wednesday September 1st, 2021 at Barrett’s Funeral Home. Memorial services are scheduled for 2PM on Thursday September 2nd, 2021 at Barrett’s Funeral Home. Reverend Darren Palmer will officiate.
