Otis David Burroughs

Mr. Otis David Burroughs, Jr., age 78, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, August 27, 2021. 

Mr. Burroughs was born in Dekalb County to the late Otis David Burroughs Sr. and Mary Edna Brooks.  He was a telephone engineer for Southern Bell and a member of Cleveland First Baptist Church.

Survivors include wife, Marcia Burroughs, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Shanda Burroughs Bartlett (Steve); daughter, Ashley Burroughs Besaw; son, Damon R. Burroughs; grandchildren, Britton Bartlett and Bryson Bartlett; brother, Barry Burroughs; and a niece and nephews.

Memorial services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Saturday, September 11, 2021 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Rev. Jim Martin and Rev. Dennis Turner will officiate. A livestream of the service will be available online at https://vimeo.com/594174216

The family will receive friends from 12 Noon-2 P.M. prior to the service on Saturday, September 11, 2021.
