Jerry Raymond Miller

Jerry Raymond Miller, Sr, age 77, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021.  He was preceded in death by son, Jerry Raymond Miller, Jr; parents, Vollie and Lowell Miller; and brothers, Larry Miller and Willie Miller.  Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Carolyn Armstead Miller of Sugar Hill; grandchildren, Daniel Miller (Wendy) of Sugar Hill; great grandchildren, Nate Miller, Rachel Miller, Jake Miller; sister, Patsy Miller of Flowery Branch, GA; sister-in-law, Maxine Dearman of Smyrna, TN; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and special friend, Christy Miller. Mr. Miller was born on December 28, 1943 in Gainesville, GA. He received his education at North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, GA. Mr. Miller was retired from Dennis Taylor Construction Company after sixteen years. He was of the Baptist faith, and he loved fishing. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 28.
