Kayla Nell Maddox, 30, of Jefferson, GA, died Thursday, August 26, 2021 after an extended illness. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 2 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Grady Hester will officiate. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Buford. The family will receive friends, Monday, August 30, 2021 from 4 – 8 PM at the funeral home. Kayla is survived by her mother, Tammy Burcham Polly (Jay), Jefferson; father, Ricky Maddox, Buford; brothers, Cody Prather and Aaron Prather, Commerce, and Chris Crowell (Amber), Thomasville, GA; grandmother, Sharon Burcham Coon, Buford; great grandmother, Nellie Hoback, Wytheville, VA; niece and nephew, Olivia Prather and James Prather; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Kayla was born October 28, 1990 in Lawrenceville, GA and lived her life in the surrounding area. She was a member of New Liberty Community Church, Braselton.
