Carrie Lena Holloway

Mrs. Carrie Lena Holloway age 86 of Gainesville, Ga passed away on Tuesday August 24, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

          Celebration of Mrs. Holloway’s life will be held on Friday September 03, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road Gainesville, Ga 30504. Following the visitation on Friday September 03, 2021, the family will hold a reception at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., light refreshments will be served. Funeral services will be held at a later date in Queens, New York. Cobbs Funeral Home in Queens, New York will be handling the funeral arrangements in New York. Interment will be held following the services in Queens, New York at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, New York.

          Carrie was born on November 10, 1934 in Eutaw, Alabama to the late Jessie Craig and Lucille Craig. She was a homemaker and was of the Christian Faith. Carrie served faithfully in the First Baptist Church of New York as a missionary.  She is precede in death by her parents, 4 sisters, and son, Lawrence Emmanuel Holloway.

          Mrs. Holloway is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn Holloway Keller (Mark) of Gainesville, Ga, son and daughter-in-law, Nolan Holloway, Jr. (Linda) of Atlanta, Ga, grandchildren, Mark Keller, Jr., Monique Keller, Danielle Holloway, Marcelin Holloway, Lawrence Holloway, Jr., 3 sisters, 1 brother and a host of other family members and friends.
