Robert Leroy “Foots” Hudson

Mr. Robert Leroy “Foots” Hudson, age 75, formerly of Toccoa passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin in Milledgeville, Georgia.

A son of the late Norman Wilbur Hudson and Ethel Irene Larsen Hudson, he was born January 18, 1946 in Douglas County, Nebraska having lived most of his life in Stephens County, Georgia.  He was U.S. Marine Veteran having served during the Vietnam War.  He was employed with Patterson Pump for a number of years, was a member of the V.F.W. Post 4346 and was a Christian. 

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy Ann Hudson Wilson and Gary of Eastanollee; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin Dean Hudson and Stacia of Eastanollee; grandchildren, LeAnn Paisley and Branden Dickerson; great-grandson, Elijah Paisley.

Graveside services will be Thursday, August 26, 2021, 2 O’clock p.m. at the Stephens Memorial Gardens with The Reverend Roger Elrod officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday from 12:45 p.m. until 1:45 p.m.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with Military Honors by the U.S. Marine Honor Guard and the V.F.W. Post 4346 Honor Guard.
