Charles "Chuck" Donald Barrett, Jr.

Charles “Chuck” Donald Barrett, Jr., age 52, of Gainesville, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Emory Hospital.

Mr. Barrett was born on July 8, 1969 in Hall County to Don and the late Joyce Barrett.  In addition to mother, he was preceded in death by father-in-law, Ronnie Anglin.  He was a physical therapist and a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Paula Barrett, Gainesville; son, Charlie Barrett (Haley Brown), Gainesville; daughter, Chloe Barrett, Atlanta; father, Don Barrett, Cleveland; sisters, Donna Barrett-Williams (Shannon), Decatur, and Tammy Barrett, Cleveland; mother-in-law, Shirley Anglin; sister-in-law, Tabatha Abbott; brother-in-law, Steven Abbott; niece, Ashton Abbott; nephews, Cole Barrett-Williams and Brandon Abbott.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Corinth Baptist Church on Mt. Vernon Rd. in Gainesville.  Rev. Fred Whitley will officiate.  Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Full Gospel Church on Henry Grady Rd. in Dawsonville. 

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at Memorial Park Riverside Chapel in Gainesville.
