Annette Helen Hay, 82, of Flowery Branch, Georgia passed away peacefully from heart failure on Monday, August 16, 2021 in her residence.
Annette Helen Hay was born November 5, 1938 to the late William John Schreiber and Lucille Evelyn (Glarum) Schreiber Gantz in Sioux City, Iowa. Predeceased in death by her parents; and her brothers, James William Schreiber (1933 to 1983) and Donald Paul Schreiber (1934 to 2018). Annette is survived by her daughter, Michelle Anne Golden of Flowery Branch, her son, Patrick Kelly Purnell of Lake Elsinore, California; and her grandson, Matthew James Golden.
Her family moved to Omaha, Nebraska and she graduated from South High School in 1956. She went on to study Cosmetology and was a practicing beautician until the late 90’s. An avid artist, she dabbled in many forms of artistry, from sculpting to stain glass, however, painting was her passion and many of her paintings can be found with her loved ones. She had many other talents besides artistry that included poetry, guitar playing, singing and dancing.
