Mr. Arthur Morris Jameson, age 80 of Twin Lakes Road, Eastanollee passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at his residence.
A son of the late Bill and Etta Taylor Jameson, he was born March 6, 1941 in Habersham County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Stephens County. He was retired from Toccoa Casket Company with over 20 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his family, going to the auction, raising chickens and was an avid horse and mule lover in his younger years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edgar Jameson and by two sisters, Allene Jameson Adams and Laura Jameson Barden.
Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Kathy and Clinton Murray of Toccoa and Karen Jameson of Eastanollee; grandchildren, A.J. Murray, Taylor Murray, Patrice Echols, Monteah Gettys, Michael Seay, Alex Seay and Dannessa Edmonds; ten great-grandchildren; three nieces.
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 19, 2021, 2 O’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Ricky McFarlin and The Reverend Thomas Blackwell officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, A.J. Murray, Michael Seay, Tyler Williams, Nick Bolman, Cody Bolman, Coty Gettys. Terry Scroggs will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
The family will be at the home of his daughter, Kathy and Clinton Murray, 228 Mize Road, Toccoa and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.
Interment will follow in the Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Arthur Morris Jameson.
