Luz Maria Rojas

Luz Maria Rojas, age 89, of Suwanee, GA passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Orlando O. Rojas in 2016; son, Orlando Rojas in 1997; grandson, Alex L. Rojas in 1995.  She is survived by her children, Alex (Alicia) Rojas, Suwanee, GA, Ivan Rojas, Suwanee, GA, Armando (Star) Rojas, Inverness, FL; grandchildren, Carlos Rojas, Elizabeth Rojas, Ryan Rojas, Ivan Rojas, Armani Rojas, Olivia Rojas; great-grandchildren, Channing Rojas, Cade Rojas, Chance Rojas, Cole Rojas; sister, Marta Machado, FL.  Mrs. Rojas was born on October 3, 1931 in Havana, Cuba.  She graduated from Catholic school and the University of Havana Cuba.  Mrs. Rojas was a retired school teacher and also was retired from Berlipz Academy in Atlanta, GA.  She was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church, Duluth, GA.  A Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, August 20, 2021 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA with Entombment following at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Duluth, GA.  Visitation will held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2021 with a Catholic Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. that evening at the Funeral Home.
