Robert Lewis Pethel

Mr. Robert Lewis Pethel, 77, of Gainesville, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced.

Born on December 18, 1943 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late H.H. Pethel and the late Myrtle .Mr. Pethel was a veteran of the United States Army and of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Pethel is survived by his wife, Frances Inez Pethel; sons and daughters in law, Bart and Melody Pethel of Flowery Branch, Brett and Joy Pethel of Gainesville; 2 grandchildren, brother and sister in law, John and Martha Pethel of Danielsville and a number of other loving relatives.
