Barbara Jean (Evans) Lawrence

Barbara Jean (Evans) Lawrence, of Dacula, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 83 on August 7, 2021. She was surrounded by her family. Barbara was born on July 4, 1938 in Canton, Georgia. She was also known as “Bobbie” to her close friends and “Nana” to her loved ones. Her favorite hobby was BINGO and she loved fashion and loved to read. She is survived by her children: Greg Lawrence, Rodney Lawrence, and Brittany Kirkland, and daughter by choice Charli Palmer; daughters-in-law: Susan Lawrence, Anna Lawrence, and Julie Lawrence; son-in-law: Tony Kirkland; grandchildren: Luis Morelos, Jessica Kinsman and husband Billy, Lowduskia Lawrence, Greg Lawrence, Jr. (Angel), Kristina Williams, Marilyn Beth Lawrence, Shawn Lawrence and wife Jessie, Stephanie Bottoms and husband Stewart, William Frazier, III (Trey) and wife Carly, Seth Lawrence, Elise Lawrence, Gage Palmer, Laura-Grace Palmer, and Alexandria Vilardo; great grandchildren, Austin Kirkland, Ashely Kirkland, Shelton James (SJ) Bottoms, Easton Frazier, and Jameson Frazier.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Hamilton Mill memorial Chapel and Gardens of Buford, Georgia. The visitation will be held Friday, August 13, 2021 from 6pm – 8pm at the funeral home. The memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 3pm in the chapel at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family will also accept visitors beginning at 2pm on the day of the service.
